Paleo Horchata Recipe
Horchata is to the Latin Americans what lemonade is to us, if lemonade contains more nutritious ingredients other than just fruit concentrates and loads of sugar. The traditional beverage’s usual ingredients include rice, milk, ground almonds, cinnamon, barley, and sesame seeds, and has countless variations in countries like Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Honduras, and yes, the United States.
