Paleo Tortilla Recipe

Burritos, tacos, and enchiladas are nothing but boring heaps of meat, vegetables, and spices without the immaculate presence of the tortilla bread. Literally means “little cake” in Spanish, the versatile flatbread even predates the arrival of the Europeans to the Americas, and was a staple dish of the Mayans and the Aztecs. No other food has this much history.

Through this Paleo Tortilla Recipe, being on the diet will no longer hold you back from enjoying these hearty treats.


  1. Whisk all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 5 min
  2. Preheat pan on medium and lightly grease with coconut oil
  3. Take a ⅓ cup measuring cup and scoop batter onto pan
  4. Cook for 1 to 2 min per side or until golden brown
  5. Enjoy!

    About how long do you think they are good for? Like if you made a batch of them ahead of time.

      There are no preservatives so they are good for 2-3 days if kept in a air tight container.

    Have you ever made these with any other flour successfully? We cannot do coconut with my little guy but sure i sure would love tortillas :)

      Heather, we never tried it, but I assume it wont come out the same.
