Paleo Nutella Recipe

No chocolate spread has reached more fame and versatility than Nutella.  It is so iconic; the Internet has spawned various recipes based on this hazelnut-flavored spread like cakes, rice krispies, pancakes, cookies, pies, toasts, and even ice cream sundaes. Ferrero, its Italian manufacturer, has marketed it as “part of a nutritious breakfast”. Unfortunately, with all the fat and sugar in it, that part is not true.

So how do we enjoy Nutella and still be healthy? This Paleo Nutella Recipe. That is how.

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Take the hazelnuts and blend them in a blender until its a paste
  2. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a saucepan
  3. Mix everything together and Enjoy!

  1. This is very good and very easy to make. I was wondering though how should it be stored? In the refrigerator or will it be fine in the pantry?

  2. Do you know about how long it’s good for? NOt that I really need to know. Can’t imagine my daughter will let it be in there for more than a day or two. LOL

  3. What other nuts could you use instead of hazelnuts? Have you tried others. Don’t like hazelnuts so always wished Nutella was made with something else.
