Paleo Kale Cucumber Smoothie Recipe
These days, sugar and caffeine-loaded coffees and sodas are our go-to pick-me-ups. Yes, they work. But at the same time, they back fire at us by adding more pounds to our weight (through their empty calories), inducing dehydration, and causing restlessness.
The best fix? Cucumber. It is rich in B Vitamins which boost our moods and provides energy. It also hydrates and detoxifies the body, as well as reduces the risk of several cancer types, like ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and uterine cancer.

- 1 cup kale
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 cup ice
- ½ cup coconut milk
- ½ cucumber
- 1 ripe pear
- Spoon the flesh of an avocado in the blender.
- Wash remove core and stem of pear and place remaining pear into blender.
- Peel cucumber and place in blender.
- Wash kale. In the same blender, add kale, and coconut milk and blend on high until perfectly smooth for about 3 minutes.
