PALEO FRIED PLANTAINS RECIPE
Ingredients
- 2 plantains
- 2 cups coconut oil
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a large skillet over medium heat
- Using a food processor blend clinatro, garlic, vinegar and lime juice
- Peel the plantains and cut them in slices
- Toss the plantains with honey
- Fry the pieces until browned and tender
